A first for Africa

Tout Puissant Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo is the first African soccer team to advance to the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. Mazembe beat Internacional of Brazil, 2-1, in the semifinal at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in the United Arab Emirates Tuesday. In this photo, Mazembe striker Mulota Kabangu (right), who scored the opening goal in the 53rd minute, gets creative with his goal-scoring ceremony. Mazembe will face Inter Milan of Italy, which beat Seongnam Ilhwa of Korea Wednesday.
