Ex-pres. secretary faces questioning

Kim Hyo-jae, former senior presidential secretary for political affairs, shows up at the Seoul Central Prosecutors’ Office Wednesday to undergo questioning about his alleged involvement in a vote-buying scheme in the 2008 leadership race of the then ruling Grand National Party. Kim, who served chief campaigner for the then party leader Park Hee-tae during the convention, is known to have ordered a campaign staff member to deliver a bribe to another lawmaker.
