Overcoming poverty through fair trade

On the occasion of International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, members of the iCOOP Consumers Coalition promote products made via fair trade Wednesday in front of Kyobo Life Insurance Building in central Seoul. Fair trade is considered to assure the social and economic independence of producers by paying fair prices to producers in developing countries.
