A cold spell will grip the country again next month, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Friday. In mid-March, a migratory anticyclone will be followed by a temporarily cold continental anticyclone, leading to a plunge in temperature. Snow or rain is expected nationwide Sunday afternoon and will continue through Monday. Jeju Island and the southern regions will see heavy rain, while small amounts of snow or rain will fall in Seoul and its vicinity and the western part of Gangwon Province. Heavy snow is expected in Gangwon`s region area. Average temperatures are expected to be continued until early next week followed by a slight cold spell in mid-week.
