Transparent dam to protect Bangudae Petroglyphs

At the news room of the Government Complex in Seoul on Sunday, Cho Gyeong-gyu, head of the social coordination division at the Office for Government Policy Coordination, introduces a dam to be built near the Bangudae Petroglyphs in Ulsan. Constructed with transparent plastic, the dam will be able to adjust its height according to the water level. All eyes are on the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Ulsan City government so as to watch whether the two parties can reach an agreement finally after 10 years of conflicts.
