Officials from South Korean electronics and machinery makers operating in the Kaesong Industrial Complex in North Korea have grave looks on their faces during a meeting in Seoul on Wednesday to call for quick normalization of the suspended industrial zone. A task force representing the companies urged the governments of the two Koreas to decide whether to shut down the complex or resume its operation “at an early date.” They said they would relocate their equipment in the complex to either South Korea or other foreign countries if the decision is not made by no later than July10.
