Cargo ship Shiomi Gracht (right) is safely anchored at Terra Nova Bay, the southeastern end of the Antarctic. The ship headed for the Antarctic on Dec. 13 last year to build the Jangbogo Research Station, the second Antarctic base of South Korea. The icebreaker ship RV Araon created a 25,000-square meter wide lake in the frozen seawater to anchor the 180-meter long cargo ship.
