Quality issue gets in the way of Apple, which recently unveiled a big screen smart phone. Apple released "iOS 8.0.1," an update version of its mobile operating system "iOS 8," on Wednesday morning (local time in the U.S.).

The operating systems of "iPhone 6" and "iPhone 6 Plus" got serious errors after update and Apple stopped release of the update version within an hour. Major errors of 8.0.1 version that users posted on Twitter or Facebook included "no service" message as the phone couldn’t find a base station and malfunctioning of "Touch Id" fingerprint sensor.

Eventually, Apple issued an apology in the afternoon on the day, “We apologize for the great inconvenience experienced by users, and are working around the clock to prepare iOS 8.0.2 with a fix for the issue, and will release it as soon as it is ready in the next few days.”

Apple also provided a fix to restore to the previous OS version by installing iOS 8.0 through iTunes on its homepage (support.apple.com/kb/HT6487).

Prior to this occasion, at the initial release of the iOS8 on Sept. 17, Apple modified the OS as some errors were found such as abnormal shutdown or deletion of saved photos. However, as the newly released iOS 8.0.1 has a bigger bug, controversies over the software are expected to continue for a while.
