US Democrats have no choice but to choose Hillary Clinton

Former U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton who was hit hard by the Democrats` defeat in the mid-term election with President Barack Obama is mulling over when to announce her running for presidency in 2016. She bore the brunt of the defeat as key Democratic senators who backed Hillary including Kay Hagen (North Carolina) lost in the election.

The Republicans started to attack Hillary. Senator Rand Paul, one of the Republican presidential candidates, posted a picture of Hillary and Democratic Senators who lost in the election on his Facebook page and called them "Hillary and losers." Sen. Paul said, "American voters sent a message in the election that they reject Hillary`s policies and her candidates along with President Obama."

Unlike what the Republicans expect, the political blow dealt to Hillary is unlikely to last long. There is no other person who can clean up the mess and prepare for the next presidential election other than Hillary Clinton. A Democratic election analyst said in a CNN interview, "Though the Democratic Party was hit hard now, people will soon agree that it needs a savior and Clinton is the only one."

Democrats who considered the Hillary Clinton`s camp for the presidential election, regardless of the election, start to make moves. John Podesta, a top advisor to President Obama, will leave the White House after President Obama announces the State of the Union address in 2015 to join the Hillary Clinton`s camp, said the New York Times. Hillary Clinton is also likely to announce her candidacy by the time.
