Jordan Spieth (22, U.S.), who is having the best year of his life in the Professional Golfer Association Tour, reportedly earns over 2 million won (about 1,689 U.S. dollars) every time he swings.

On Friday, Golf.com, an American golf magazine, published the income per stroke of the best golfers of all times including Spieth, the first ranked golfer in the world. In the 2015 season, Spieth has earned prize money of about 12.03 million dollars.

Spieth`s income per stroke is about 1,979 dollars, which makes him eighth in golf history, according to Golf.com. Spieth had five wins and played 88 rounds (6,080 strokes) in this year`s PGA Tour.

The first in the ranking is Tiger Woods (40, U.S.), who earned 3,315 dollars per stroke in 2006. Woods` single stroke earned 3,037 dollars in 2007 and 2,757 dollars in 2009. "Woods was the world`s top golfer for over 10 years, earning a lot of prize money. He also had fewer rounds per year in comparison with Spieth who plays 60 to 70 rounds a year. That is why Woods` stroke earned more than Spieth`s," Golf.com analyzed.

How much would Korean female golfers playing overseas earn per stroke? Park In-bee (27, KB Financial Group) earned 403 dollars per stroke. She earned prize money of about 2,6 million dollars and she had 6,525 strokes in the Ladies Professional Golf Association tournaments.

Lee Bo-mee (27) earned 31,424 yen (approx. 259 dollars) per stroke. Lee became the "money leader" in the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) tournaments by earning over 200 million yen for the first time in the JLPGA history. Her prize money was about 230 million yen (1.9 million dollars) and she had 7,335 strokes.
