Hyundai Motor wins the Brand of the Year title at Red Dot Awards

Hyundai Motor has become the first Korean automaker to win the “Brand of the Year” title at the Red Dot Awards, one of the world’s three most prestigious design awards.

The “Brand of the Year” award is granted to the single most innovative and creative brand that exceled others in product design, communication, and design concept categories.

LG Electronics was the first South Korean company to receive the award in 2015 while Hyundai Motor is the first South Korean automaker to win the award. The awards ceremony will be held in Berlin, Germany next Friday.
