Lee Jae-sung of Bundesliga club Mainz has led the team to a win with his second goal of the season.

Lee made the first goal in the 19th minute of the first half of a home game against Hertha BSC held in MEWA Arena in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate on Wednesday. His second goal of the season was passed by Silvan Widmer using his head. It has been about two months since Lee’s debut goal in the game against Arminia Bielefeld on October 31. With Lee’s first goal of the team, Mainz had a big 4-0 victory and is ranked No. 6 in league with the winning points of 24.

An import record was achieved in the Bundesliga on Wednesday. Robert Lewandowski, a striker of Bayern Munich, made multiple goals in an away game held at Mercedes-Benz Arena against VfB Stuttgart. With the game, he reached the 42nd goal record of the year. The record is a tie with Gerd Müller’s yearly goal record in 1972. Lewandowski scored 41 goals in the 2020-2021 season and replaced Müller’s most goal record of 40 goals in one season of the Bundesliga in 49 years. Bayern Munich had a great victory with a score of 5-0. It is garnering attention if Lewandowski makes a new Bundesliga record as his team will have a match against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday.
