그린 주위의 비온 뒤 함몰 된 구덩이에 볼이 들어 갔는 데 동반자가 동물에 의한 구멍이 아니므로 그대로 경기하든가 벌타 후 드롭해야 한다고 하는 경우 어떻게 하나요? 이 경우 비 정상적인 코스에 해당되는지요?

비온뒤 함몰지역은 Rule 25조의 수리지에 해당되는지 아닌지를 판단해야하는데 이 판단은 tornament의 경우 경기위원회에서 하거나, 아니면 주말 골퍼의 경우는 경기가 끝난후 Club Pro 들에게 물어봐야 할 것 같습니다. 일단은 Unplayable과 수리지에 해당하는 구제지점을 선택하고 경기하신뒤 Pro shop에서 확인을 받으시면 되겠습니다. Decisions 3-3/11에서도 비슷한 내용을 설명하고 있어 첨부합니다.

3-3/11 Competitor Drops One Ball in Accordance with Two Different Rules Instead of Playing Second Ball

Question: In stroke play, a competitor’s ball comes to rest through the green in a deep rut which has not been defined as ground under repair by the Committee. The ball is not playable due to the rut. The competitor believes that the Committee might declare the rutted area to be ground under repair. He announces to his marker or a fellow-competitor that he will drop the ball at a spot which conforms to the procedures prescribed in both Rule 25-1b(i) (Ground Under Repair) and Rule 28b (Ball Unplayable), seek a ruling from the Committee before returning his score card, and accept the penalty stroke in Rule 28 if the Committee does not declare the rutted area to be ground under repair. Is such a procedure permissible?

Answer: Yes. Although it would have been advisable for the competitor to proceed under Rule 3-3 in this situation, the Rules do not prohibit such a procedure - see also Decision 3-3/12.
